About the Studio
Founded in 2023 by Katarína Bohácsová, BK PATTERNS brings together illustration and print design with a deep appreciation for decorative visual storytelling. The studio’s creative direction is rooted in thoughtful composition, trend-aware and color-sensitive design that feels both expressive and commercially versatile.

With a background in fiber arts, Katarína is an alumna of Oksancia Textile Design School, where she developed digital textile and surface design skills. Her ongoing studies at The Print School by Longina Phillips continue to strengthen the studio’s creative and technical foundation, supporting original artwork developed with attention to both aesthetics and application. Her work has been featured in the Emerging Patterns: A New World of Designers book.
From seamless repeats to engineered prints, each piece is created with care for balance, usability, and visual character across a variety of surfaces and product categories.
As an emerging studio, BK PATTERNS is building a growing portfolio of original, licensing-ready collections for textile, fashion, home décor, stationery, and related creative industries.
